Winemaker's tasting note:
The 2017 vintage of our Estate Pinot Noir truly speaks to the Pommard clone that sits on our northern hillside. Much like its namesake, the Pommard clone provides us with amazing richness and complexity. The wine starts with strawberry and cherry aromatics, but there are beautiful spice and forest floor accents that give the wine its complexity. Texturally, the wine has fabulous richness but doesn't come across as heavy. True to the palate, the nose is all about fruits and spices and pulls you into the glass. To date, this is our most complete Pinot Noir and speaks to the great things to come. ~ Russell Bevan, Winemaker
